Wifi interfering with Bluetooth connection

I have my BB Curve (T-Mobile) setup with my wireless network at home and with a bluetooth headset. If I'm connected to the network and try to use my headset, no one on the other end of the call can hear me. I can hear them fine. If I disconnect from the wifi connection, bluetooth works great. Anyone heard of an issue using bluetooth when connected to a wifi network?
