Switching profiles
Is there a shortcut key that allows you to switch ring profiles? On my Pearl, you could hold the # key to switch between Normal and Vibrate. Is there anything comparable on the Curve? It looks like you have to manually select the profile from a list each time.

There are shortcut keys depending on how you have your phone set up. If you set up your phones general options so that "Dial from Home Screen" is set to "NO" (Send Key>Menu>Options> General Options), then there are a lot of shortcuts you can use. "F" is Profiles, "M" is Messages, "T" is Tasks, "L" is Calendar, "A" is Address Book and so on. When you are on the main menu, look for the letter that is underlined and the bottom of the screen. If you highlight the Alarm icon you will see that the "r" is underlined, so that is your shortcut.
I use this method and it's a lot faster to get each application. The only drawback is that you have to push the green "send" key to dial in this mode.
