Router question

I recently changed jobs and my new company uses T-Mobile. The coverage in my condo is horrible, I have to be on my balcony to get a signal. In my home, I have a regular Comcast wireless setup, do I need to purhcase a different wireless router to use the HotSpot feature w/ the BB Curve? Also, will my coverage get better? At this point I am considering getting a home phone (which I have not done is almost 10 years). I appreciate any and all info!

How has your UMA service been at home? My phone keeps dropping UMA and switching to EDGE and most of the time it drops the call in the process.

I have had to switch off my WiFi at home because everyone that calls me on it hates it.

As it was stated above, you won't need a new router.

In my case I use netgear?! or smth, and it works just fine.

I have no reception what-so-ever inside of my townhouse, so this really solves my problem.

I replied to a question similar to yours. Tmobile sent a list of steps to resolve this issue and it has fixed the issue for many people. Look through the other postings. It has the full email they sent plus a link to go directly to the bb website with the info
