Is the new service feature on LG Voyager City ID just an enhanced caller ID feature as described by cust svr. Or is it data driven in where I would occur data charages. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It costs $1.99 per month in addition to the visual voicemail charges. You get a fifteen day trial with the new update so you can evaluate it. As I understand it, it doesn't bypass anonymous caller id but does tell you a call's city and state if the number is not blocked. Big whoop.

I cant imagine anyone paying for city ID. I am guessing verizon will figure this out and just offer it with visual voicemail.

Between apple and verizon, I do not know which company is more greedy. I imagine that is why apple Iphone and verizon never got together, two greedy companies trying to work together is not an easy task.
