hey all.. i just downloaded bitpiim for the voyager for the first time. It finally recognized my phone and in the main menu setup of bitpim, i can upload my contacts and calendar info so far. I was looking at someone's tutorial of the voyager w/ bitpim on youtube and they said you have to click on the file system tab which is on the left side of the screen. Unfortunately, I don't see this file system tab so if anyone could please give me some help w/ this i'd apprecaite it. I mean using bit pim isn't very important to me i can live without it if it really doesn't work but i though it would be cool to play around with some flash games for the voyager that's all. Thanks in advance.

Yeah that's the video I was watching BUT in that video, the person on the left side of the screen hs what's called a system file tab or button on his screen and I don't have that at all. That's where I"m getting lost. ANyone else here experience that before?

I'm not sure what bit pim is. Could you explain it to me because I would love to back up more than just my contacts if possible. Also, how do you get it?

Bitpim is a program that you download on your computer which allows you to read all the info on your phone and also upload special Flash games and programs to your phone. YOu can bback up your contacts with it but there's also an application from Get It now called backup assistant which is specifically designed to back up all your contacts to an online electronic database on verizon's website.

Oh OK. Yeah, I know about Backup Assistant, I utilize that all the time. How do I get the bit pim because I would love to sync my calender and notepad (the games don't sound half bad either. 🙂 ) When I connect my voyager to the computer via the usb cable when I upload my music, the phone itself asks if I want it to sync data. I've hit OK a couple of times, but nothing ever happens. Any more info on this would be fantastic.

To be completely honest with you, I'm not 100% sure why it wouldn't work for you with the usb sync cable. I've never actually synced my phone up with my compuer that way. I get music onto my phone by putting my memory card into the computer and dragging and dropping files from Limewire into the My Music folder on my memory card. Same thing with pictures and videos. Tha's aways worked wel for me. If you're also talking about calendar appointments and things like that, unfortunately i'm not exacly sure how to do that either. Sorry. This is the question that I'm also asking people on the forum. I would like to get some flash games onto my Voyager but if I can't then I can't i just thought it'd be fun that's all.

There are already 35 pages containing hundreds of threads addressing your questions and dozens and dozens of user reviews availble under the reviews tab. C'mon. This phone has been out for months. Start with those and then ask something specific if you find it hasn't been covered.

Just to let everyone here know, i got a flash game onto my phone, but it wasn't woring correctly and for some reason kept on restarting my phone so i just took it off and put the ez tip calculator back on. Interesting experience though. It can be very confusing indeed.
