A contract ending question

My contract is ending soon. I was wondering if I spoke to the loyalty department what would they offer me to stay with Verizon. I have been with for Verizon for 8 years. However, there ar so many offerings from the other providers that intrique me to test the market. But if Verizon did make some kind of offering maybe I would still be tempted to stay put. Thanks for the advice!!

I would leave. I've been with VZW for abt 4yrs and during this time I've seen a change with this company. The phones don't seem to be as reliable as before and as for the customer service, HORRIBLE!!!! VZW was recently rated as the best cell phone carrier out there. I swear it seams their service has gone WAAAY down since that report. I CANT find a pleasant agent now, in store or at their 800 customer care number. If I could get out of my contract w/o paying such a high fee, I would be GONE!!!!

I need a good product and better customer service. It's ashame every time I talk to an agent, there is such an attitude in their tone. I have been fussed at several times over simple matters. I got the Voyager 2 weeks ago today, I've gone to th...

Sorry if this is too obvious, but have you thought about calling them and asking? Depending on what kind of customer you've been, they might roll out the red carpet, or they might stand on the dock and wave goodbye. Find an alternative you can live with and then give them a call. Prepare to switch if you give them an ultimatum and they are happy to say sayonara.
