I need your help. I currently have software version 07 on my Voyager. Now I see version 11 is available and the possibility a newer update version will soon be released. Should I go ahead and get V11 or wait for next release? If I go ahead and get V11, what is the pros and cons I need to be aware of? Thanks for everyones input.

Updating 7 to anything newer will require you to reenter/download your apps and most configuration details. It should preserve your contacts, but you'll need to reenter mail settings, re-download games, and so on. You'll lose stored favorites in vznavigator if you haven't sync'd them online, as another example. You might get charged to re-download games after the update unless you squawk loudly. It's not very convenient. What you will need to do to get from 11 to whatever is next, assuming there is something next, is of course not known because whatever that might be isn't out yet. Verizon does not provide advance notice on these things, and rumors are just that. Sometimes, they're good and sometimes they're not.

Thank you for that information. I'll be sure to inventory my apps and sync my favorites before I update. Your input is greatly appreciated.
