my fully pimped voyager
well it took 9 months but i finally am starting to like the voyager i fully pimped it with 8 gigs now maxed out and the mp3 player is stupid slow now, i hate that and i bought a clear cover for it that makes it look like a true rugged electonic device also maxed out my plan with everything, i just hate how slow everything is with the 8 gig card in.. i also had the pleasure of having an iphone for a short period of time and must say the iphone is a much better "device" than the voyager but the voyager is much better phone, we do need to improve the touchscreen on the voyager and the load times on the card and add a 3 megapixal camera with flash and up it to 16 gigs with wi-fi on the voyager 2 and i think i might be happy,,, and ohhh ya this i...

Voyagerboy, you say 4th phone in 9 months, well I say you are getting lemons or you are very abusive to your phones. I use the hell out of mine, but I keep it clean and don't expose it to moisture. I have a body glove on it and put in pockets, not on my belt where it could get rained on. I know there could be changes made to phone, and I checked out the Dare, and I love the key pad on Voyager so I will keep using it as I love the Voyager.

I've had a 8gig card in my phone since I got it (6 months ago). I don't have any problems with my phone being slow. My beef is I wish this phone had a browser with flash. I can't get alot of web sites to come up because the have drop down menues or something that won't come up. I wish I wasn't limited to get-it-now apps (they all suck). I will probably go with a smartphone next time. The Body Glove thing sucks. The face plate scratches/pits the chrome on the phone, and it doesn't go in/out of your pocket very easily.

jharo, after you wrote that I checked my phone and took off body glove and no pits or scratches, maybe because i don't get phone dirty and take off glove every 3 to 4 days and wipe everything down. Your right though about the ease of getting out of pocket, that can suck, but it doesn't fall out of my shirt pocket as my Env did on the pavement before i got a case for that,which was the silicone case, now that case really sucks as it covers the key board and makes it hard to see.

4th Voyager in 9 months tells me that you need to stop maxing out your Voyagers!!! LOL!!! Gee Wiz!!! I can't speak to having a 8gb card because I only have a 2 gb card in mine, but I have a lot of Music Videos that I produce and about 30 songs and about 30 or more pics on my card and its still pretty fast. I don't notice any slowing at all. My plan is pretty maxxed out as well except I do not have Mobile TV. I got just about everything else though.
The funny thing is that all those people waited in line for the new iPhone with the new features and the GPS is NOT turn by turn directions! It's just a map like google maps! LOL! However we all know the Voyager is more entertainment based and the iPhone is moving towards being a business use k...
