Okay, so I finally got the card to insert into the phone 🤭 .

Now, how do I get the music onto the card? I plug the usb into the computer and it keeps flashing do not disconnect while transferring. I tried to click on the music, then go to SEND TO and when I disconnected, the music was not there.

HELP! Step by step directions would be great!

Step by step instructions are in your manual. First, format the card using the built-in format utility. Then, put it into USB mass storage mode.

Okay, so I figured out how to get the 40 sec clips onto my phone. Even got a few pics on it too! Now, how do I get it to set as wallpaper or ringtones? I go to memory, card memory, my sounds...and they are there....then options...and it says erase or move. When I go to move, I can mark or mark all, then I get done but nothing happens. I've looked in the manual and am getting nowhere fast ! HELP? PLEASE!? I normally am pretty quick with this kind of thing. 😢

select the sound, click send, text it to yourself, then when you get it, save as ringtone.

That is the ONLY way to set it as a ringtone? I can't set it directly from the card without installing it on my phone? I thought I read somewhere on the boards that it could be done but I can't find that info anywhere. Seems to me that that IS the only way (texting them). I am just worried that I will fill up the memory on my phone. THANKS for all of your help! 🙂

Kendalish,

Though you figured it out, just remember you need to turn the card upside down to insert in the phone.

I have been dragging songs out of my iTunes library right into the My Music folder that is on my card. I also can pull songs off a CD-R and drag the song file over as well. Everything plays fine on the phone.

This process works the same way with pictures you have on your computer that you want on your phone. Just drag and drop!

all well and good. The only way to make the ringtones, however is to text clips to yourself and save as ringtones. Really.

Now I just offered up my advice about getting music on my phone and now I tried to put some new songs on mine and they won't show up for nothing!

I dragged some songs out of iTunes (the NON Protected ones) and then I popped in a CD and dragged some songs from the CD onto my micro SD card.

When I put the card in the phone, it doesn't even recognize most of the songs on the card! Out of 6 songs it only put 2 on the phone however they are all on the card! At least they are on the card when I plug my card reader up to my computer and I can view the whole folder. So why would they not be showing up on my SD card?

Thats kinda strange huh?

That same thing happened to me when I had a Motorola Q. It hasn't happened to me on my Voyager, but I've only transfered songs via the usb cable.
