I have been told that the Pre-orders will not even ship out until the day that the phone is release. Is that true? That would mean those would did pre-orders wouldn't get theirs until after people who go into stores on the 21st to get theirs. That's pretty backwards. On top of the, the 22nd is a holiday, meaning that we'd get it Friday at the earliest. Can you find out what the real deal is one this?

Well, yes and no.
You have it sort-of correct.
The phones will ship out the same day as the Online release (not the pre-release, obviously).
So, the "real deal" is that the phones will ship overnight via Fed-ex the same day to pre-order customers and a week later to stores. So the pre-order folks should get it a week or so before it is received by the stores. But there have already been questions as to whether the Verizon stores are actually going to be able to keep the release date of the 21st. 🤨
Because there have been so may pre-orders for this phone, some have said that Verizon may not have enough to ship to the stores, and the in-store release may be later than originally expected due to (possibly) limited stock. 😕

I'm not understanding. If Verizon will get it a week later, and they are now scheduled to get it on the 21st, that means that pre-orders will ship out the week before the 21st?
Or are you also saying that what the rep said was true? That the phone will not even ship until the 21st, and since Thursday is a holiday, people who pre-ordered wouldn;t receive it until the 23rd at the earliest?
