touch screen slow??

I am just wondering if anyone else's touch screen is slow like mine?? I have the black one and when I push a button it takes about 1-2 seconds to respond when I push the message, contacts, menu and all calls buttons. The only reason I ask is because I was in the verizon store the other day they had a pink one on display and I started playing with it and the touch screen was instant... Is mine messed up or was that one extra special?
If you respond please tell me what color you have?

my girlfriend just bought the black one yesterday. the 1st thing i noticed is that the touch screen is sloooow. Not sure if theres setting to fix this or if a firmware update will help, but i think it should be faster. maybe you will just get used to it.

It's all in your head (pink isn't quicker than black). The touch screen is just slow...takes some getting used to. Is this your first Verizon phone, by chance? All of their phones' UIs are slow!
