Is this phone International with AT&T

Ok..I dont have it yet infact I may switch 2 Cingular/AT&T but not sure yet? How does every1 feel about this network.Money wise and how good the phones are and service/reception all that stuff. I travel 2 Europe once a year and I was wondering if I were 2 get this phone is it unlocked or can I get it unlocked so I can go 2 Europe and put in a Greek Sim card and use it? Anybody know? Any answer will be appreciated...Thanks!

-for me i have been w/ at&t wireless (orig), then thru their cingular days, & now that they are at&t & generally speaking i've been happy w/ them. Generally for me anywhere i've been i've been able to get service.
-For me it is a/b tech (GSM) & not necessarily them. But they do have reasonable int'l roaming/ int'l calling, though any roaming is way over priced.
-i like roll over, it makes sense, & w/ that generally i don't talk much during they day (6a-9p), so i accumulate daytime minutes so that i don't have to worry if there is a time when i'm making a lot of daytime calls.

-generally its personal preference, but the fact that you can buy an ulocked phone from overseas & use greatly helps a...

There is one thing I might add, if you're not going to use the phone much, just a call or two per day, might just be easier and cheaper to just pay the roam fees.

The added benefit is family and friends would be able to contact you without a run around.

If you get it unlocked, it does come locked to ATT, it will work on the european gsm services. It is a quadband gsm phone.

You won't be able to access European 3g, it uses a different radio.

Oh its ok..I just want 2 have a phone there I could care less about all the extra radio and stufff..lol
