The camera on the u900 is amazing. It has more features and functions than my regular digital camera (which was a 3.2 MP). The downside is that when you send a picture to an email address with a pix message, the file gets compressed and ends up looking like crap. I'm trying different methods (USB cable, memory card) to see if it makes a difference. I'll get back to you on that.
The delay that a few people have mentioned can be fixed by changing the auto-focus function. Auto-focus adds a delay to the camera because the lens is taking a few seconds to focus. Turn that off, and it's just as fast as any other cell phone camera.
The flash is awesome, but I don't know how it compares to the Maxx.
