Not bad at all (overall)

This is a pretty good phone - I must say. I am up-grading from the SCH-A970, so this is quite a bit of an upgrade - phone and camera. There are a couple of things that I can see as possible problems... For one - I can forsee both the inside and outside screens becoming scratched very easy. With that being said - I took an idea from my old V-710 and used crystal clear tape to cover both screens. Once that gets scratched - simpley peel off and replace. The think I was not to happy about was the flimsy back cover that has to be removed to access the battery, and more importantly the memory card. It is made of VERY thin plastic. They could have beefed it up a little. The camera is AMAZING - when compared to my A970 that is. the front to...

My only complaint is the outside screen. It's pretty dark in comparison to other phones I've owned in the past. But I haven't found myself using the outside screen that much which is pretty odd for me. Anyway...I agree that it's a great phone.

FYI... when you go to the display options menu, under contrast you can adjust the contrast of the front screen that makes it easier to see "brighter" in a sense. I ended up leaving it at the default setting, the analog clock is more than readable and when new alerts pop up they're much more brighter than the analog clock.

Thats not the "dark" I was speaking of. The front display is fine - it's the invisible MP3 player function keys (play, fast-forward & rewind) that only appear (light up) when pressed.
