How to fix Internet Sharing that AT&T hid
AT&T wants you to use their service and pay for it.
Your phone was equipped to do this without paying. AT&T did not remove it from your phone they just hid it. To restore it, do the following.
Go to Start/Programs/Tool/File Explorer
Once File Explorer opens go to the Windows file. In the Windows file find the file "Internet Sharing" Hold the stylus on it until the Cut option appears.
Under the Window folder open the Start Menu and then open the Programs menu. In a blank spot hold down the stylus until the paste option appears. Paste the file here and it will then appear in your program folder under the Start menu.
If you are using Vista, connect your cable to your computer and let the files load. Start Internet sharing on your phone and then connect and you have internet on your laptop.
I have not tested this on my xp computer yet, but good luck.
