Screen orientation?
I have not used the Verizon version of this phone. When it's turned on it's side, does the screen automatically re-orientate itself to landscape mode? If not, is there a quick way to do it, a single button etc? I just don't see myself typing in portrait mode, can't envision the keyboard being big enough to do so, even aftermarket keyboards.

No its not automatic. But really simple to make it. Just tapping a botton on screen and its done. I made it even easier on mine, I configured it so I just hold down the camera button on the side and its done even quicker.

Thanks for the info. Is mapping that camera button easy? Presumably it a long press, and doesn't override the camera button?

It will not interfere with the camera button function. A single tap would bring the camera app up and a long 3 second hard press would realign the screen.
I do not see where on earth you could go wrong with the Spb Full screen keyboard though ??!! That keyboard for $10 was the main reason why i stayed with this phone as i now type faster than Mogul/Rumor/755p/Curve owners.
This keyboard realigns as well when you are typing as an auto function (i have the Sprint version but wouldnt understand why the VZ version couldnt utilize this as well).
