Depends. Are you still getting feedback even when you're not covering up the speakers or the mic? If so, your phone is defective, and you should have it replaced.
If the only issue is that you get feedback when the speakers are covered up by your hand, then I'm not sure what to tell you, because that is normal. If you have large hands, I could see that being a problem.![]()
It's a fairly small phone, so it's not tough for a guy with big paws to totally cover up the back of the phone with his hand. .
The only time I get feedback is when I hold the phone in my hand. Then, the speaker gets blocked. My hands aren't huge, the phone is small and poorly-designed. I have spent a lot of time at the Verizon stores and online. Unless I want to get a different phone, and there are really no good reasonable alternatives, my only option is to get a bluetooth headset or speakerphone. It seems really stupid that I have to buy a speakerphone to use a cell phone with a speakerphone!!!
I still have a little bit of time to weigh options, but then my trial period is over.
