RED 8350 Is Out!
In case anyone is wonderin', the RED 8350 is OUT, at least here in NorCal (played with one in my local VZW store, it was on display).
Personally, I didn't care for the shade of red used, it was pretty dark/burgundy. Too conservative. 😛
It also has the Version 2 firmware on it... don't know what's different about that over Verision 1, though. There was nothing obviously different in the menus, but I didn't look very hard.

I saw the red LG VX 8350 also, in a Circuit City store, where there is a Verizon stand. They just had the demo, they hadn't gotten the shipment yet, she said probably Tuesday or Wednesday. I like the new color, it's a nice contrast shade. I live in Ohio, around the Cleveland area in the suburbs, and most of the stores don't have it in yet, but I'm sure pretty soon. The finish on the red is more shiny than the grey, the grey is all matte. But I still think it's nice from the demo I saw. Will likely get a red one, when they get the shipment! 😉

I read in my local newspaper that the LG VX 8350 will launch in the Verizon stores, Dec. 7th, as well as the pink Venus and the ice blue LG 8550! And on the 8350, I was talking about the new red color which is awesome! Saw a demo phone of it! I will be purchasing that one. 🙂

Well I finally got the red LG VX 8350! It was supposed to launch on Dec. 7th, but I found it at the Verizon stand at a Circuit City near me. I love that red color! I think it's awesome. I used to have the gray one, but I exchanged it for an older model phone (big mistake) only because back then I wasn't to sure about it. I didn't dislike it, I just wasn't sure wether I would keep it. But I purchased the red one at retail cost, my contract wasn't up yet. The red has a glossy finish to it, which makes it so nice looking. Some fingerprints yes, but not like some I saw there. A little darker than candy apple red, but by not much. I think it's beautiful. Since I had the grey one, I am familiar with the phone, only the red one has some software up...
