That's only part of the story. It's also

Thinner
Lighter
Actually shorter, 'cuz of no external antenna

You can read text messages on the outside display (can't on the 8300)
The 8300's speakerphone buzziness at higher volumes is mostly gone
The UI is nicer-looking/more modern
The bluetooth is less crippled than the 8300's
You can use bigger fonts, especially on the outside clock
The keypad isn't bumpy and weirdly offset like the 8300's

'bout the only negative I see is that the battery life isn't quite as good, on account of going from a 1100 mAh battery to a 1000 mAh one.

Other than that, it ...

One of the things you mentioned was: "You can use bigger fonts, especially on the outside clock"

Are bigger fonts also available in the notification of who is calling on your incoming calls?

Some of us are vision impaired, including someone that wrote in earlier (that did not get a response at the time), and although the outgoing display is large, they mentioned they could not figure out how to increase the font for the incoming Caller ID. I am looking at possibly buying this model and would appreciate you sharing your knowledge of the font size on the Caller ID, whereas I am also a vision impaired person.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and have a great day.

I think the large fonts are limited to the outside clock and in listing the digits you punch in when making a call.

I haven't seen any way to increase their size for Caller ID, but its not a big issue for me since I use Picture ID for incoming calls for anyone I talk to frequently.

If big fonts everywhere are a priority, you might want to check into other phones, perhaps the Coupe.

Im a big LG fan myself. I still have the 8300 which is by far my favorite phone from the past 10 years(LG's, samsungs, nokias, and motorolas b4); however, Im waiting for the 6800 to come out which is supposed to come out in mid october that isnt LG. Maybe investigate that over the 755 🙂 Just a suggestion

I compared the 8300 and the 8350 side by side in the store. Yes it's longer because it has no stub antenna. The specs could show the width to be more than the 8300 but it's not significant IMO. BTW, it fits PERFECTLY a Milante MIL52-LB case, available from discountcell.com for $14 delivered. Talk time? I don't know because I didn't own a 8300, but it's fine with me. I charge my 8350 about every 3 days.

I just talked my neighbor into getting this phone. Does it have talking Caller ID like the 8600 and 8700 have?
