I am thinking about getting 3 of them to replace every phone on the family plan...to replace an 8100 a 6100 and a 3300. The 3300 is mom-in-laws and will prolly want that reactivated anyway leaving a spare 8350 for backup. Not to mention the 8100 that I have come to love.

Yep, I still like it. If anything its gotten a little better, since the hinge spring is a bit less stiff now, and the phone is easier to open one-handed now.

If you're looking for a good all-around midrange phone, its hard to do better.

My suggestion is to get one at first, for yourself (if you haven't already), to confirm its what you want, and then go from there regarding the rest of the family's phones.

My mother-in-law won't part with the 3300. Set in her ways but still bears a striking resemblance to the old lady in the Tmobile commercial. 85 years old a last time she called she was driving. Prolly oughta get het set up with bluetooth. My wife only uses a phone to make calls so as long as she can find the contact list and the send button she's good to go. Could be an issue since she likes the 6100's menu. But thanks I really appreciate the input.
