Hue Mp3 player???????

Hello, I am currently shopping for a new phone and had some questions about the Hue. Does the Mp3 player work while the phone is closed, can you view the tracks for the external display and control the volume and tracks when it is closed?

I appreciate any help anyone can lend.

It does!

I've also run into the weird problem of it playing music through the external speakers if the right combination of buttons are pushed while it is in my pocket.

I'm getting ready to replace my iPod with it 🙂
