2.2" display. Once you've owned a se you're a loyalist. Never have I nor my friends ever had any problems with the SE's we've owned.(k790,w810,k750)The only bad I can see with this phone is the video recording, which should still produce a fine video. It is 3G which makes up for lack of WiFi. It has optional gps enabler if u need that. Has all the features of a walkman series phone. 3.5mm jack attached to fm antenna as well as stereo bluetooth. 5mp camera xenon flash as well l.e.d.s. for low light video and just as a light. Basically it will have everything you need just shy of a smartphone.(which crash and freeze all the time and ppl just accept it as part of the phone) The only thing is how much $ will it be? It is a BAMF though.

Oh yeah it does pick up smudges and fingerprints quite easily. And if you're worried about the screen/phone getting scratched try this: http://www.shieldzone.com/cell-phones/
Have it on my phone and ipod. Works great and you can hardly tell its on the device. Does take a lil patience and some skill to install but well worth it.

Buy it unlocked. Or if att does get this phone, get it and then unlock it. Doubt they will though. Will restore the phone to how SE meant it to be and also allow you to apply mp3s as ringtones and such.

(they told me they wont cover a ph purch unlocked and i want to carry insurance)

You can unlock the phone via the web($30-35) w/ a cruiser cable($15-20). Or in most areas there are stores that will do it for a fee ($35-50). Long Island has a number of them. Not sure if it voids the insurance. As far as i know it is not a high risk move. And quite easy. U dont have to tell them that you unlocked it. The at&t person I talked to after I unlocked mine didnt care that I had. Insurance i.m.o. is for drops, theft, and I dont know if companies still cover water. The only bad thing that after it is unlocked is that you no longer get email notifications. You must manually check for new emails. Dont know if this can be corrected or changed. It didnt affect me too much.

i'm not important enough to care about emails 😁 ...lets say ins. can cover me...if i have issues is it pretty obvious that its been unlocked, can i ever lock it again just in case ins has an issue with it??
