Samsung Gleam SCH-U700 / Muse
Upon Further Review...
I can't submit a second review and my first wasn't sufficiently critical. I spent some additional money on this phone for additional "accessaries" and I'm not happy!
After less than 60 days of ownership, I've spent full retail for another phone (LG VX8350) because of so many problems with the Gleam. The jack reciever for the headphones took very little abuse...carrying it in a waist holster with earbud jack in caused only a few pulls the wrong way (and not hard) before the ear phones...any earphones..will, now, not work properly.
Reception became increasing poor and, yesterday, I couldn't even get a single bar. I was previously disgruntled with the poor reception. Places like the grocery store and Home Depot were "no cell call reception" areas and it just went down hill from there. Verizon offered to replace the Gleam with another USED Gleam and I declined, suspecting that I would endure more agrivation in the future. Anyone want to buy a Verizon Music Essentials CD for a Gleam...just kidding. I'm sure that's against the rules, here, but I THINK that Samsung built that jack reciever to fail.
