I'm Getting One!!
I should be getting this phone on saturday or monday. I had to buy a new phone since my old one broke, so I surfed around helio's site, saw it, bought it, then only realized how awesome it is now after reading so much about it.

I ordered mine on Wednesday at 1:00PM. The Fed-ex man delivered it at 1:00PM on Friday. Amazing.
It appeared to be activated, but it wasn't working. I called Helio and was told there was a problem and it would be 3 business days before someone at the corporate level could even look at it. Ten minutes later I got a text message and the phone was activated and everything was working.

I just read your review and first of all, thanks for all the info!
I've been obsessing about getting this phone forever and can't seem to get enough info about it so i have a few questions:
-How is the battery life while not talking, aka pictures, surfing, videos, texting, etc.?
-Does it "feel" as sturdy and thin as they say it does? since it has the nice magnesium case and all..
-Are the menus customizable?
-Can you find any video on youtube with their surf features? or only pre-selected ones on their 2min TV clip service thing?

I was off work today so I played with the phone for a total of about three hours. Taking pictures, uploading them, surfing, two short phone calls. I recharged the battery twice. I did the let it run down completely, charge it completely, let it run down again thing, when I first got it. Didn't seem to matter.
I think it has a very solid feel. Not metallic but not really plastic either. When I lay it down on t he desk it makes a nice little thud, not a cheap plastic sound. It seems to be sturdy enough. There is no flexing of the hinge.
I haven't found a way to customize the menus. The message screen is customizable though. I don't know about youtube.
