Kyocera Wild Card / Lingo / M1000

To get custom wallpapers and screensavers for the WildCard on VM, email them to your phone as an attachment. It can support a jpg or gif (haven't tried png yet) of 160x116 as a wallpaper or sreensaver. If you set an animated gif as the wallpaper, it will use the first frame as a stationary wallpaper. (Which works swimmingly for my wallpaper/screensaver combo of Palpatine using Force Lighting :-D)

To email images to your phone, send them as an attachment to yournumber@vmobl.com (Every Virgin Mobile phone should have an email like this.) Unfortunately, it seems only images can be emailed to the phone. I have tried .wav, .mid, and .mp3 with no luck.

As far as a data cable for this model goes, the Kyocera website sticks the WildCard in with the Lingo/M1000 so I'm assuming they are the same basic architecture. I will write another reply when my data cable arrives and I've had a chance to fool with it.
