command button audio

With the Verizon version, when you press the command button, the audio comes out of the speaker on the back of the phone, not through the ear speaker. The volume of the audio through the back speaker is dependent on the volume level of the ringer, so if you have the phone on vibrate, the volume when the phone says "please say a command" is quite low. Is there a way to have this audio come through the ear speaker?

Nope - this is designed into the system software. If you're good at seem hacking, you might be able to figure it out. If you're a normal user, sorry.

Yes, press the voice command side key>right soft key for Settings>Sound>Speakerphone. Its default is on, select off... voice command prompts will be played only through the earpiece speaker.
