Motorola website wrong? or not?

I just ordered an unlocked V8 from the Motorola web site and when I check the specs it says that it has a Micro SD card slot. I know that it has been stated by many that there is no memory card slot, so why is it listed in the specs? Motorola ia going to have a lot of angry customers. Also, does the phone come with the data cable & software? It isn't listd. Other sites have it listed. Thanks in advance!!

It does not have a Micro SD card. It does list that it has a Micro USB charger....are you sure you read the site correctly?

Now when I check the specs they are not even listed. They are listed for the V8 that comes with the free headset, but they are different than what was shown for just the V8 alone. I guess they got a lot of questions because it definitely said that it had a Micro SD card slot and when I had clicked on accessories it showed different sized Micro SD cards. I figured it was just a typo, so it's ok. My phone will be here today. I'm guessing it's probably going to be the one with 512MB of memeory, but I'll find out.

It is a great phone. I have been using it for a few months now and I love it.

I can't wait until it gets here. I'm so tired of AT&T branded phones and I have been waiting for a Razr upgrade. Can't wait to have a different Motorola UI.

I have both the V8 and the V9. V8 does NOT have removable memory. The V9 is 3G and does have removable memory.

I can't understand why M would release such a nice upgrade and NOT include a card slot. Makes no sense. I won't buy it without the upgradable memory

Well, that's up to you, of course, but personally I cannot imagine ever needing more than the 2GB that currently ships with all V8's from the Moto store.
