Motorola RAZR2 V8
Aug 24th release date???
I just got off of the phone with motorola (1-866-289-6686) and asked about the Razr 2 release date and they said August 24 unlocked. Hopefully this is correct info.

Over at another website someone said the release date for this will be September 10 with T-Mobile. This would make sense because it would be released around the same time as the other carriers...but uhh..nothings written in stone 😎

Yessiree I just read about it over at boygeniusreport.com - they reported that Sept 10 is the release date of what is a "V3 06." The only thing that I don't understand is why would T-Mobile give all their competition an extra month of having the RAZR2, and they plan on releasing a V3? 🙄
Seems a bit odd...but then again I'm only speculating...seems like you got yourself a source for the October date. keep it coming !

I just asked a Tmobile rep at the Tmobile store and he said it should be available within the next two weeks. He sounded pretty sure, but I don't know...

Well i do have a friend working at tmobile closely (not just a store rep) and it is October 8-10 i also know that it will be the 2gig version unless motorola still has 512 left. Also hate to burst everyones buble but 3g will not come next month

Emailed Tmobile, and they said September 10th release date. Here’s the important part of actual email response:

that's the link to T-Mobile UK. They have it for sale (with a contract) for around £129.99 which is roughly $250 USD.
No clue on when it's coming to T-Mobile in the U.S., some sites say Aug. 24th, some say Sept. 10 or 24th and yet others say early October. Hopefully they hurry up and release it. Sprint dropped the RAZR 2 V9 already and Verizon will probably follow shortly.
