I know it will be "trimmed" down compared to the other Razr 2 versions, but will it still be the best phone Verizon has to offer?

Dont know why i keep getting erased. But personally i think the VX8300 is the best Verizon phone. Its a 1.3mp camera (but still the best quality out of all here phones even the 2mp ones) Speakers are super loud.

well my plan is up for renewal and i can get a new phone. i like the lg 8700 but i wouldn't mind waiting to see what the razr 2 is like or even a new lg (would it be the 8800?) ... if they're coming out somewhat soon. are either of these going to be coming to verizon within the next couple months - like by september?

For the last time. The V8 is a GSM phone, not a CDMA phone.
Verizon will be releasing the V9m, which has a slower processor, only 65k color screen compared to 256k of the V8 and of course crippled bluetooth and its own UI.

Once again, Verizon isnt releasing this phone.. its GSM.
