This phones looks even less appealing than the original Katana. And none of the updates are significant to make an original Katana owner envious.

i just compared to to the first one and the only big diff is 2.5 headphones and still vga camera? same phoen just diff look.

It's an inexpensive phone, that's why. For people that can't afford the lx-570 and so on.

Mockery of modern technology?? That's big talk from someone who released the Iphone on an EDGE network. Look this is a lower end phone, designed for people who do not need or use all of the features that are out there. If you want something with more features, look for the Katana Deluxe.
