If you compare them, what is the difference REALLY? Compare them. The xx has more memory, the v9 has more phone book capacity. Other than a bigger external and a little different design, what does the v9 have on the v3xx? Why would you buy the v9 at $299 when you can get the v3xx at $99? Can someone please explain that to me...

i do agree with you, other than the awesome external lcd screen with touch mp3 player buttons there isnt alot of difference. The v3xx is only triband and the v9 is quad-something most at&t reps dont even know. I would tell you to look at the sony ericsson 580i or the sony ericsson z750. I think both have much better features, but im not sure on the release date for the z750. good luck

The reason I went with the V9 and returned the V3xx (I paid the extra difference to upgrade) is primarily because of the Crystal Talk feature. It is amazing. I can blast the radio and people on the other end can hear my clearly. I've been so close to traffic noise and people say it sounds really far away on the receiving end. I can also hear clearly because the earpiece volume gets louder as ambient noise does.
