Anyone else have this problem ? If I hold the phone in fornt of my case or put it inside, the lights turn on and the phone unlocks.
Is there a solution?

yehh same thing w/ me, i bought a case just yesterday and soon after i realized that the magnet, that closes the case, kept lighting up my phone. I'm going to return it....Has anyone found a good case for this phone yet?

I don't think it is the magnet that is unlocking your phone. It is the the phone moving and getting bumped in the case that hits the two unlock keys and then buttons continue to get pushed and when you reach in to get the phone out the keys are so sensitive that the phone is lit up evry time. I have the same issue and I am returning the phone and getting something else, which sucks since I really like the phone and know it inside and out after owning the 810i.

Speaking with no direct experience, as I don't even have my 580 yet... Does part of the normal button-push sequence for unlocking involve the center key of the D-pad? I've read in reviews that the D-pad is directly above the loudspeaker. Magnets inside the speaker interacting with magnets in a carry-case could very well be causing button pushes. Just a thought.
