Transfers via Bluetooth
I have a BB Pearl right now. I'm very much interested in the BB Curve. My son tries to transfer ringtones from his Samsung phone to Pearl and the Pearl will not allow me to receive them. I hate paying $2.50 per ringtone when the kids these days can somehow share them.
Will the CURVE allow me to receive ringtones via Bluetooth? Believe it or not, that's one of the features that I look for. The second most important feature I look for is camera quality-crisp & clear pics, which the BB Pearl is lacking.
Can anyone advise before I spend too much money on a phone that won't make me happy? 😕

your curve can receive ringtones via bluetooth you just have to go into your ringtones and press menu and click on "receive via bluetooth it will give you like a 30 second window to start the transfer i figured it out when my girlfriend got her pearl also go to www.myxer tones.com you can get free ringtones legit from there they even let you upload songs and cut them up into ringtones in case you have hard to find music you want as a ringtone

Ok. I attempted to try to procedure with my Pearl. Got all the way - and no luck. The Pearl's screen showed WAITING for CONNECTION. My son's (Samsung) phone showed UNABLE to CONNECT. The Curve will be in my hands as soon as T-Mobile in Houston starts to selling them today (Sept. 24). Thanks, anyway.
