Really, how good is this phone?? Almost all "professional reviews" I have read has said this is an "good" phone, but lags in reception/call quality (compared to recent new releases) and the camera, which both are important to me. With consumer reviews, I have read amazing things on phone scoop, including how good the camera is and how they are getting great call quality even in the worst of areas, but only mixed reviews on cnet. I have also heard mixed reviews about the quality (i.e. screen breaks after a 3 ft drop and dust underneath the screen) on all sites. So what gives? Why are professional websites like PCmag, cnet, etc saying on thing, but then great reviews on here?

Thanks for any insite....

I like the reviews on here a little more. They are very accurate and you tend to get some very good real world experience from people who are cell phone savvy.

just my 2 cents, i dont have this phone, but I have read the reviews and I can't wait for it to come to Verizon!!

I have the curve and love it. I live in New York City, call quality is excellent (have also used it in parts of NJ and Conn. Have not dropped the phone so can't give any info on that, but it feels better then any of the other phones I have used (except the moto StarTac which could be thrown against the wall without damage). No dust under the screen. All we can give is how it works for us - you just have to give it a try to see what you think - it seems that more people consistently like this phone, it is a blackberry so it does not appeal to everyone.
