Not Sure What People Want...

Here comes the shower of boo's for "another" non-3G Blackberry from at&t. Get over it. A 3G Blackberry is coming soon enough, relax. Everyone knows that when Blackberry does something, they do it right the first time. There is no trial and error here. The reason there hasn't been a 3G blackberry on at&t yet is probably because neither RIM or at&t are ready. Fine. Everyone complains about defective phones and poor performance about every new piece of tech that comes out. Yet the same people are the ones clamoring for the "new hotness" before it's even ready. Before everyone throws a tomato at this Blackberry, appreciate it for what it is. A new EDGE enable BB device that sports Stereo Bluetooth (a first for BB), a 2MP Camera (a first for BB),...

Good post, you brought up some very good points. I say props to RIM for not rushing a new 3G berry that's gonna be plagued with issues, but we all know that people(myself included) are impatient and will not understand that to release a quality device, you need to take your time.

Great point.... RIM will wait to "do it right"

A week ago I got rid of my 8700c to try out a BlackJack. I loved the BB, but wanted the camera and other fun factors.

If there was no BB, I would love the BlackJack. However, I know how rim does it right. The day after I got my Blackjack, I found out about the upcoming 8300. Thank God I'll be in my exchange period and will surely be happy with the Curve.

I was excited about 3G on the BJ, but it's really not that great and still spotty in the LA metro area. Maybe next year!

You see, carriers can push companies to make what people think they want.. and have a lot of commercials on TV. We all know what happen to the Moto RAZR the hype is over and everyone has figured out Motos flood the market with inferior products scheme. This is typical of Korean companies like Samsung and LG. RIM and other reputable companies will not compromise on quality to get a temporary upper hand in the marketplace, so Samsung goes to Cingular and says we will give it away for cheap, sell it to you for cheap and do anything you want, and we will even supply the vaseline!

I hear May 24th, however, that could possibly be when it goes up for sale online and begins shipping to stores.
