Really? It works? I'm paying $39.99 for unlimited internet plus 1500 text messages. I know the Media Max 1500 is $29.99, so it is a difference of $10....

yes media max works on this phone. There are two different browsers for the Curve, one by Blackberry and one for MediaNet. The blackberry one is unlimited with a monthly subscription of $29.99, you can also overlap a Medianet (media Max) package over that which will give you medianet. The speed is about the same, but you can't purchase downloads from Cingular.com website from the Blackberry browser. I work for At&t and have done this recently with my own curve.

If you remove the blackberry plan and use a Media Max plan it is cheaper, but you will lose your push email and BBY messenger which in my case was the reason for getting the Blackberry.
