Yeah, yeah, we know... the analog towers are gonna be shut off next Februrary. Only, they may not be, actually... the law only says that carriers CAN start shutting off the analog towers next February, not that they HAVE to.
My guess is, the carriers that still operate such towers will evaluate 'em on a case by case basis, turn off the heavily unprofitable ones, and the leave the rest on. Some analog may still be around for awhile, crazy as that sounds.
The battery life specs looks very good too. Sure, the VGA camera and no EVDO are a bummer, but still, I would've considered this phone had I not already gotten an 8350.
