Ringtone help please
I just got my new Treo 755 so i'm first learning everything about it. I have a ringtone i downloaded on my phone but it only plays in the p tunes after i download and save. How do i convert it to ringtones. I was told by someone else when the song plays i should pause it and then save it as a voice memo, but it doesn't show up there either. Any ideas from anyone.

You'll need a program to do this. There are a couple of simple freeware programs that I've used:

Both are essentially similar in what they do: Open SD card, find tone you want, edit/cut tone to smaller length or subsection, save tone to internal memory (a reasonably short 10-30 second clip clip should be around 200-500 KB).
I personally prefer the interface to MiniTones.
Some MP3s don't seem to play back.
