You'll need a program to do this. There are a couple of simple freeware programs that I've used:
MiniTones: http://mytreo.net/downloads/minitones,1053.ht ml
MusicTones: http://www.freeware-palm.com/download-musicto nes-v1-0.html
Both are essentially similar in what they do: Open SD card, find tone you want, edit/cut tone to smaller length or subsection, save tone to internal memory (a reasonably short 10-30 second clip clip should be around 200-500 KB).
I personally prefer the interface to MiniTones.
Some MP3s don't seem to play back.
