FWIW I was in a Verizon store this weekend and tried to get an update on a release date. Left the store after getting a blank stare from the dude on the floor which was followed by the now standard line of "They do not tell us about new products."

Verizon has a viciously effective training program if they can get all of their customer facing employees to mouth the phrase "They do not tell us about new products." I can not believe that that is a good message for their sales folks to be putting out, but they seem to have trained every sales and customer service employee to say those exact words.
