Now that being out of the way. I understand that Verizon has released a lot of new phones, and that they have more to come. I also understand that Sprint had an exclusive on this phone. But I would say that your point about "There is more to a phone company than the newest gadget" is very similar to what Verizon themselves always say as an excuse for having sucky phones.

I will admit that in recent years Verizon's selection has been getting better, but the problem is that up until very recently Verizon's greed has (in my opinion) hurt their customers. Verizon is now blaming the 755p push back's on testing like they do with all other phones they push back. I would be ok with it too, if I hadn't had previous phones in the past that they pushed back, and pushed back, and pushed back to "make sure they were right" only to have them be complete piles of garbage (Ex: Moto V710) They need to get off their butts, get the phone ready and get it out there, and keep the trend of good phones coming. It would be nice to see some HTC's hit VZW, maybe even try for better Nokia's or something with other major handset makers.

Don't get me wrong, Verizons service is awesome, but the handset selection is lacking compared to most other major carriers.
