EVDO Rev A Support

Does the 755P supports EVDO Rev A? My understanding is that the prior Treo's only supported rev 0.

Even though its listed on here as Rev 0, the phone's hardware says it supports Rev A. If you perform the ##786# on your handset, it says Rev A. It is the first handset in the US thats supports Rev A.

The Treo 755p is EDVO Rev-0 and does not (and can not) support Rev-A

The Rev A shown on the phone info page (##786#) refers to the hardware version of the phone -- not it's network compatibility. From time to time over the course of production of a particular model, Palm will tweak components or the manufacturing process. When this happens, the newer phones ship with the updated hardware revision on the phone info screen.

For example, over its lifetime, the Treo 600 was issued with Rev-A, Rev-B and Rev-C.
