On the AT&T website it states that this phone includes, "Telenav Maps and Navigator(TM) support"

So does that mean its GPS enabled??

Def interested in buying this but need to know if it comes with GPS thanks for the help!!

Yes it needs the Telenav GPS puck to actually receive directions. You have access to the maps standard on the phone.

I guess the original question was about whether this phone has GPS chip in it. I would very much like to know the answer to it, can somebody who owns the phone confirm that phone has GPS chip in it? Practically it means that Telenav (or Google Maps or MSN Live) can acquire current location using GPS (you will see appropriate message as it happens). I think putting Televan on the phone without GPS is as least strange but on the other hand GPS feature is seldom mentioned in reviews for this phone 😕

Thank you.

CNET has a pretty good review. Per that, there is no GPS chip onboard, but you can get an external of some kind.

I have this phone and am still exploring it, but so far I like it.
