An update became available for my phone right around the new year. I literally woke up one morning and the red light was flashing...said to click "OK" to update firmware. I did this. The next time I accessed the Sprint Music Store it asked me to update that software, so I did. After that the Music Store wouldn't load at all. The CSR said my problem didn't fit anything on her solution matrix, so she sent me to a corporate Sprint store, who somehow dumped the app and reinstalled it from a text message 12 days ago. Today I went to access the Music Store again, and got the same message that I needed to update the software, but no matter how many times I click "OK", the update doesn't complete. Once again, I can't access the Sprint Music Store. The CSR again couldn't help me (but it is malfunctioning differently than it did last time) but, seeing notes about this same issue less than two weeks ago on my account, transferred me to tech support (which the first CSR two weeks ago didn't do, just sent me 90 miles into a corp. store). The tech rep's best solution is either an RTN or a new phone. We have a 3rd party retailer in town, that could do the RTN, but they'd charge me to back up my 140 contacts...so he wants to send me back to a corp store.
If you've read this far, thanks. Has this happened to anyone else? Up until the phone update 3 weeks ago the Music Store worked perfectly. Now it's malfunctioned twice in two weeks. I can't believe it's a device issue...it's got to be the update...right?
