Bluetooth problem

hey i had got that motoROKR 2 days ago..
and i had another friend try to bluetooth with my phone... and it worked when he paired me...
but it didnt work when i tried to find his device...
and also i have a headset that i had got for it but when i try to find pair tha headset with my phone it wouldnt find it....
so im kinda stuck....
oh and im with metropcs if it helps

make sure your discovery is turned on and also when pairing to a bluetooth you also have to have discovery on ... your friends phone probably had discovery turned off...

I'm going to guess whats going wrong here...

you are trying to copy files from one phone to another phone and not trying to pair a headset to a phone.

with the motorola software, you need to have the non-copy-right-protected file highlighted and simply select copy or move from the options menu. This will give bluetooth as an option to copy something to... you do not set up a paired connection in the bluetooth menu in advance. you *DO* need to make the receiving phone device discoverable at this point.

yeah, motorola does it a little differently when transfering files phone to phone via bluetooth. as compared to sony ericsson or a blackberry or nokia.
