I am going to buy a Motorokr z6m from us cellular. I heard there is a new update and fixes the freeze ups. Does the new update fix all defects and problems in the motorokr z6m? Also can i just take it to us cellular and will they update it for me for free?

I purchased the Rokr from US Cellular on March 25th. It had recieved the Motorokr update. Everything was great! my friends with the same phone had not recieved the update and were having significant problems, but mine was perfect.... Until yesterday. I turned on my phone in the morning and was going to take a picture of my son and it would not take the picture. It was showing on the screen that it was an invalid action. I tried to access my music player where i have several playlists saved and had been utilizing on a regular basis. Once i pushed menu-nedia gallery-music player the phone froze. I wasnt able to access anything in my media gallery not even my camera option with the memory card in. Keep in mind this is the memory card that came ... (continues)
I just wanted to correct a misunderstanding. If you buy a phone from US Cellular, you have 30 days to return it, either replace, or change to a totally different phone. I just bought one and that was what I was told. So, take your phone back if it is within 30 days and they will replace it, no charge. I have this in writing.
I am sorry to correct you but the 30-day exchange covers ALL post-pay customers who have replaced their equipement in the retail store. However for prepay phones it is only 15 days (which, would not affect you if you have a ROKR anyways). The phone needs be in in resaleable condition and if the phone is different in price, you pay it.
