Does this phone have the annoying missed call alert?
My Motorola SLVR has that irritating missed call alert that chimes EVERY 5 minutes 😡 if you haven't cleared a missed call. I wish there was a way to turn that thing off but I've been to both Verizon and Motorola and they all say it's not possible. I'm thinking of getting the Z6tv but I wanna know if they've fixed that. Anyone know?

You will be happy to know that the reminder tones are configurable sound wise or you can set them to vibrate. Also the length at which you can set it to remind you is configurable. These setings apply to the voicemail, txt msg, and pic or video msg reminders. Also YES you can even turn them off. As for the missed call beep reminder I am pretty sure you could probably do the same with that but it wasn't in the same menu as the other 3 alerts reminder settings. So I will have to double check.

i can turn off the reminder chime on my v3m, so i reckon you can do it with all other motos. it's in sound settings.

I forgot to mention that all verizon's phones come with a standard UI which cripples a lot of their phones' features. I really wish they would nix that and let users decide how to use their own phone, but I digress. In the sound settings menu of verizon's motos you can turn off the alert for pix messages, txt messages and voice mails but nothing else.

if it's using the same and/or similar standard ui as the v3m, go to sound settings > ring styles > master volume detail > scroll down to 'reminders' and choose from "off", "vibrate", or "beep"
