This just started happening to my slide. I called up t-mobile and they said its happening to everyone and that they are waiting for a full re-call from motorola... the best thing to do it call customer care and have then take your name and cell # down so if that does happen they will call you and let you know.
A rep. there said the best thing to do is wait out the 14 day period and call in for a new phone. Some tips are to don't slide it down hard, be gentle with it. Take your backlight down to 1 and take of the trackball to light up option off when sleeping. hopefully this will help !
