My understamding is it's a limitation of the Danger OS, not the hardware. Until Danger fixes that, no Sidekick will have it.

exactly. before it was picture messaging, which was finally fixed with the lx and slide. with this phone being marketed mainly for the younger crowd, it would make complete sense to have video messaging though...
