I have a Verizon VX6800 and all in all, a pretty good phone. However with the wireless sync enabled, I cannot make active sync see my phone.

I'd like to download some 3rd party programs to my phone but cn't make active sync work.

Any suggestions? Are there any simple programs out there that will do what I want?

most of my programs ive downloaded straight to my phone. i usually use the PC because i can see more... do you have vista.....

o lol..... duh....

you dont need active sync.. i totally forgot i dont even use the dam thing... download programs to your PC. copy... go to my computer removable devices (depending if you have a memory card or not.. or vista or not) just paste into your desired folder then access it from your phone. 😁

LOVE THE POCKET PC.
(have the sprint version) but maybe it'll work with you.

Thanks for the prompt reply tellenerd! However I still can't make that work. More details:

I downloaded a new app to my laptop (XP) in the usual way. unzipped the files and ran the install. so far so good. The install runs successfully and I get the usual "program will down load to your device on the next sync. Only the phone NEVER syncs.

I was hoping there's an app out there that performs this function without having to you the miserable active sync.
