I switched from the 6700 to the 6800. On my 6700's Windows Media Player the screen would automatically switch to full landscape view. Now I have to click full screen then slide open the phone. Is there an easier way?

im not sure if this is what you mean, but what I would suggest is Open up Windows Media. click Menu.....Options...click the "video" tab at the bottom. then under the drop down box put Always. also click the box that says, Scale to fit dolemme know if that did the trick! 😉

Thanks for the help but I didn't explain myself very well. On my 6700, when watching a movie, I would click on the full screen button and the screen would go sideways and I could view it fullscreen. Now, it only goes to fullscreen in a portrait view. To get it to landscape, I have to open the slide. More of a pain than a problem. Is it just a WM6 thing since the 6700 ran WM5?

If sprint_2007's advice didn't work, I'm stumped. I use a TCPMP player instead of WMP on mine. Any vid I record from the device automatically opens in wide format. This is not a fix by any means, but if you can't get it working, tap the screen layout icon on your home screen to put the device in landscape mode prior to opening WMP. Sucks, but you don't have to open the slide.

Thanks...I have tcpmp...I'll try it. Anything will be better than having to slide it open.
